I became a member of Worcester Lions Club in 2005. During my time in Lions I have been Tail Twister, an active member of the Projects Committee, Public Relations Officer, Welfare Committee and House & Social. I did 3 years as Club President.
This is my 2nd year as Postmistress😉 for 105CW (although I have done it for many years previously) which is part of the Administration Team, and I love my role. I have also in the past been on the Committees for two Multiple District Conventions and one District Convention which was hosted by the zone. I was also been Convention Host Chairman for a District Convention hosted by Worcester Lions Club… I have also done the roles of webmistress, Newsletter Editor and Zone Chair.
As District Postmistress (Email Co-ordinator) it is my job to ensure that members get information passed on to them from Club, District, MD and International. Anything for circulation to clubs please email me at postmaster@lions105cw.org.uk

Stewart Sherman-Kahn
Sergent-At-Arms
Birmingham Chinatown Lions Club
I joined the Birmingham Chinatown Lions in October 2012 and have since has the honour of serving as District Governor and Chair of Council.
I am looking forward to returning to serve District CW as Sargent at Arms after a year away from District Office and working with DG Richard.

Adrian Hutchings
Almoner
Dursley Lions Club
This my 35th year serving our Communities with Lions Club of Dursley.
Joined in 1985, and was, with a fellow Lion Badged up by PCC Denis Legg, unfortunately no longer with us, but I miss him.
Have been Zone Chair a number of times, Region Chair, District Youth Officer, Sergeant at Arms twice, organised two District Conventions, 1994 and 2004, which we were told was the best and sorely missed. For those unaware, the Club has its own premises, which has been used for the storing and sales, weekly of household goods, all donated by our various local communities, and we use our own van to collect and for the deliveries of items purchased. Wanda and I are both subject to our second marriage, this one on 15th October, 1983. Leave you to do the maths. We have four children between us. Wanda’s a daughter Debs, husband Andrew, with granddaughter ELL (22), and grandson (18 this week). Her Son, married, Zoe, with two sons, Jo (17), and William (5 1/2).
Mine, daughter Marnee, married to Pete, with grandson Keelan (24), and granddaughter Cailin (22 just), and my Son Lian (Professor - Durham Uni), married (2nd) to Allie, with twin granddaughters Amy and Charlotte, both currently at Unis.
Have served 105W for four years as District Almoner, and about to start my second for 105CW.
It is a function I enjoy for two reasons. Firstly, I can hopefully show that Lions not only care for their Communities, but more specially for their Membership, and secondly, I am able to keep involved despite my age, and maintain contact with our many friends.
Spent nine years under the colours with the Royal Marine Commandos from 54 to 63, serving with 45 Commando in the Middle East, and later 62/3 with 42 out in the Far East.

Convention
Birmingham Chinatown Lions Club
When I'm not busy being a Lion, my mission in life is to keep my wonderful Wife from getting bored by livening up her day. I'm also the proud Father to
two amazing teenagers and owner of the two laziest greyhounds in history. I also enjoy messing around with guitars, although my ambition is far ahead of my actual ability.
I am the tail twister in the Birmingham Chinatown Lions, a proud member for over four years now and loved every second of it.
As Convention Chair, I face the challenge of creating an event for our new District Governor that continues our proud traditions in this new, uncharted era.

I am also the Deputy Council Treasurer with the responsibility for the financial management of Message in a Bottle. As a very young lion (in service terms if not age) I was asked to represent MD105 alongside the UK Ambassador representing DFID in the opening of a new facility in Bihac which is in the north west of the country.
DISTRICT SERVICE TEAM

Matt Kilpin
Global Service Team Deputy
Rugby Rokeby Lions Club
I am married to Kelly and have two young children, Megan 7 and Jack 3. After leaving school I studied Horticulture at Moulton College and went on to work at Althorp House (Family home to the spencer family and where Diana Princess of Wales was laid to rest), Southill House which was the family home of the Whitbread brewing family and then taught at both Shuttleworth College Bedfordshire and Capel Manor in Enfield. For the last 16 years I have run my own financial services business.
I joined Rugby Rokeby Lions on 22nd April 2018 and am currently the Vice Chairman. Many will know me from the last MD105M Convention as I was Convention Chairman, a post which i volunteered to do after only 3 lions meetings and didn’t really realise how important it was. The event was a success though!!
As District Environmental Officer I want to promote this global cause and get all clubs involved in an environmental project however big or small.

Amanda Cale
Lioness District Rep
Dursley Lionesses
I have been married to husband Tim for 40 years and have two adult sons. I am MD of an engraving company, (www.classyglass.co.uk), started with the help of the Government Enterprise Allowance Scheme 34 years ago and currently employing five people.
Dursley Lioness Club is one of only ten such clubs left in the Country. Sponsored by our Dursley Lions for the last 35 years, we work alongside them to provide service and fundraising in the community. A member since 2004, I have held many positions at club, district and national level; Club President, 105W District Chairman, MD105 Lioness Treasurer, MD105 Nominations and Resolutions, MD105 Competitions Officer and MD105 Website/IT Officer.
I have attended every MD105 Lioness Conference since I joined, where my loud voice has been utilised as Sergeant at Arms on several occasions! I thoroughly enjoy getting together with Lioness and Lions from around the Country each year to support each other, swap experiences and learn together. Let's just say Lioness' know how to party!
My current Lioness roles are MD105 Lioness Policy Co-Ordinator and the last ever MD105 Lioness Clubs Deputy Chairman. As of 30th June 2021 Lioness Clubs around the World will cease to exist, a great loss to this magnificent service organisation. Until then I look forward to working with our fellow Lions, both locally and nationally.
As 105CW Lions/Lioness Co-Ordinator, or Lioness District Rep if you prefer, it is my job to liaise between the Lions and Lioness of district CW. This is a role I have held for a few years now and it has been a great way of getting to know our Lions and the fabulous work you all do.

We left Andover Lions after four years when we moved to Portugal to live. During our time there we had an association with the Lions Club but due to the distance we were away from the clubs in Portugal our visits were somewhat infrequent, but we did get involved volunteering at various functions.
Upon our return from Portugal, three years ago, we joined Melton Mowbray Lions Club where I am presently serving as Vice President and will continue to do so for another year.
